For someone who is very rarely home, I visit restaurants and coffee shops on a daily basis. One of my favorite places to visit is the Minnehaha Cafe near Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis. As a resident of St. Paul, there really isn't any small restaurant businesses I visit.
The food there is very delicious and cheap. It doesn't cost you an arm and a leg like a typical bar/restaurant would. For me, it's easy to get there via the Metro Transit system from either downtown (via bus from St. Paul and light rail if I'm in Minneapolis). It's within a few miles from where I work (a direct bus ride to and from).

Why aren't you home often?
ReplyDeleteThat's great that you have a place to go that's cheap and not out of the way.
That's great that the food at that restaurant is delicious and cheap. Most of the time you only find one or the other.
ReplyDeleteIt is really hard to come by food that is both cheap and tasty. I also work in St. Paul, sounds like a place I might have to check out on the way to work.
ReplyDeleteGrade: 9.5/10
ReplyDeleteMistake: Should be aren't instead of isn't to match the plural of businesses
Sam - I'm never home because I'm either at school in Inver Grove Heights or at work in the Highland Park area of St. Paul. It doesn't help when you have to be on the bus at 6:25 every Monday - Friday and usually get home between 9 and 10:00 at night.
ReplyDeleteRandi - I would highly recommend you try it.
